Play golf for the first time

Not everyone is meant to be on the fairway. I am one of those individuals who fairs better in the lounge than on the course. Learning to play golf was never on my list of things that I would love to accomplish. However, being married to an avid golfer nudged me in the direction of the greens.

My husband has no idea why learning to play golf is such an unappealing task for me. I am Scottish which makes him seem to think that the sport is in my blood. Nothing is further from the truth. I avoid learning to play golf at all cost. Even when I am part of an outing event I still stay away from the clubs.

As studies have shown us, it is imperative to keep your body tuned and in shape. Now when I say studies, I am talking about endless studies regarding the human body and fitness. There's no doubt that a good exercise regime will aid in keeping your body healthy and your physique looking good. This is why so many of us exercise regularly. We want to live long and healthy lives. We want to look nice when we're in our 50s. This stuff goes without saying. Now, the question is; what are you wanting to spend the most time on? One thing I've come to learn is that individuals all tend to have a focus. There is some aspect of their body that requires the most attention for them to feel satisfaction. Whether this concerns a bicep curl, a bench press, or a simple leg exercise is totally up to you.

I think it's safe to assume that many people don't watch what they eat. If you don't buy that statement, then I suggest you take a look around. See anything that changes your perspective? Yeah; anyways, as I was saying, in this modern age of technology and knowledge, I would think that more and more people would be watching their diets more closely. After all, we know so much now about what's health and nourishing, and what's none of the above. Surely no one has to sit you down and tell you the risks of a fast food diet. It's our sole duty as individuals to adopt healthy eating habits and routine fitness regimes. Take your pick from Gold's Gym, Weight Watchers, Total Bally Fitness, curves weight loss centers and a number of other companies. All of these help people like yourself lose weight.

How to deal with my fitness instructor?

If you ask me about annoying people, I will tell you that one of the most annoying is a fitness instructor. Are they bad people? No, certainly not. Are they as people unlikable? No. The problem is that when I’m exercising they are telling me to work harder, push myself more. While I know that is exactly what I need to do, and that is just what they are getting paid to do, I still can’t help but fantasizing about smacking them across the face just once. I’m not a mean person by any means, but even I have my limits, and I can get cranky when my limits are pushed.
